Overview

TITAN Haptics is hiring a senior commercial leader to expand our reference designs through channel sales and strategic partnerships.

This role focuses on converting TITAN reference designs into scalable commercial programs through partner licenses and agreements. The ideal candidate can build channel relationships, identify the right product–market–channel fit, and turn reference designs into repeatable commercial programs.

This is a senior commercial role. We are looking for someone who can secure high-value commercial relationships and drive channel programs.

TITAN Haptics is a Canadian startup dedicated to developing core touch technologies (haptics) and the complete system stack that enables compelling touch feedback in devices. We provide production-ready reference designs, developer tools, and integration support to help partners deliver haptics experiences across a wide range of consumer and commercial product categories.

Responsibilities

Strategic Channel Commercialization

  • Own and drive high-volume sales of TITAN reference designs into major distribution channels.
  • Identify and secure opportunities where TITAN-derived products can achieve meaningful volume.
  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies that support sustainable unit economics, predictable sell-through, and repeatable commercial growth.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and order structures with channel partners, including supported configuration options and delivery requirements.
  • Build and manage relationships with buyers, specialty retailers, distributors, and channel partners capable of driving significant annual volume.

Strategic Brand Partnerships

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with brands, OEMs, and commercial partners interested in using TITAN reference designs as the basis for co-branded or partner-branded products.
  • Develop opportunities where TITAN Haptics’ technology and reference platforms can be extended into new product categories and commercial use cases.
  • Manage partner relationships from initial commercial development through deal structure, launch planning, and ongoing growth.
  • Enable partner-branded products built on TITAN reference platforms, increasing TITAN’s market presence, credibility, and industry visibility.

B2B Commercial Programs

  • Cultivate relationships with commercial firms and distributors that can support bulk customized orders.
  • Secure partner-branded or bulk reference-design orders for commercial campaigns, programs, and distribution.
  • Identify B2B opportunities that are commercially meaningful, operationally feasible, and aligned with TITAN’s product platforms.

Commercial Strategy & Opportunity Development

  • Develop commercial packaging for TITAN opportunities, including positioning, pricing approach, supported configurations, and target-account strategy.
  • Help define which TITAN reference designs are most suitable for specific commercial channels.
  • Prioritize high-value opportunities with real purchase potential rather than low-value custom projects or fragmented one-off requests.
  • Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and drive deals from prospecting through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and purchase order.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with TITAN product, operations, sourcing, manufacturing, and leadership teams to ensure commercial commitments are realistic and executable.
  • Coordinate partner requirements related to branding, packaging, supported configuration options, delivery timing, compliance, and commercialization.
  • Help create a more standardized and scalable sales process so TITAN can support channel growth without excessive internal friction.

Revenue Ownership & Execution

  • Own channel-oriented revenue targets tied to product licensing, co-branded programs, and strategic channel sales.
  • Drive channel programs while also helping TITAN establish long-term channel relationships and repeatable partnership models.
  • Provide clear reporting on pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, key account status, and commercial blockers.

 

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years in channel sales, strategic partnerships, business development, consumer products, retail account management, brand partnerships, or a related commercial role with meaningful ownership of revenue outcomes.
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following:
    • channel sales for commercial or consumer products
    • strategic brand partnerships or co-branded product programs
    • B2B or commercial bulk product sales
    • commercialization of products through distributors, retailers, or partner brands
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, negotiate, and close high-value commercial partnerships that result in product sales at meaningful scale.
  • Strong understanding of commercial negotiation for physical products, including how to structure partner programs for repeatability and operational reliability.
  • Comfortable working across product, operations, sourcing, and commercial teams to bring partner opportunities through to execution.
  • Strong judgment around which opportunities are commercially attractive, operationally realistic, and strategically relevant.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in partner-facing and negotiation settings.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in consumer electronics, wellness products, gaming accessories, or branded merchandise.
  • Existing relationships with channel partners or brand partnership networks.
  • Experience with co-branded or white-label product programs.
  • Experience working with hardware products, finished goods, or OEM/ODM commercialization.
  • Background in premium consumer products or differentiated technology-based products.
  • Additional languages such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
